Favoriting. This song is amazing. There is many mixed feelings you portrayed well with your selection of notes and ranges. What inspired you to write this song? What did you feel? I must know.

Listening to myself play randomly, creating patterns that i like from that randomness, and manipulating them to my liking. The second half of the song was very loosely inspired by the two legend of zelda games: ocarina of time and majora's mask.

Good song, but a lot of distortion going on with any high pitches and the piano.

Snares feel really quiet, drums and bass are the focus of drum and bass (go figure, right?) but the drums felt tacked on, and there wasn't any focus on bass.

Your transitions and filters aren't too bad, they change fairly rapidly, but I was under the impression your purpous was to demonstrate some new found abilities related to them.

You'll get there yet.

Its a good song.. except for those. They distract from really well made song you have. I suggest removing them completely.

I really enjoyed most of it.

The only thing I have a problem with is what I believe to be the closed hat? or hats? Its very clicky, and way to loud. Its hard to really get in to the song with it like it is. If you want to use it in a game, I think it'd be great, but only if you fix that problem. Any game with the closed hat clicking away like that would get really freakin' annoying fast.

3:32 and onwards is really well done. But the bass is just a tad bit loud. I'd try turning it down to make it smoother.

- Fix that click (closed hat, or w/e it is)
- Try turning down the bass a little bit between 3:32 and 4:11.

Ah, okay, thanks very much! I will change those hats, i find them very clicky as well. This was a work in progress anyway, this isn't the finished product for a game.

My review isn't going to say much more then how great this song is. So I am not going to write it, lol. I am however going to write something and put my mark on this page. Its songs like these that truely inspire people in to trying their hand at music.. and inspire others to listen to Trance. Great work, mate.

It's been so long since I've been on NG. I feel bad, I haven't really pursued music like I used to. Seeing all your encouraging comments makes me consider picking it up again though. We'll see.

Getting really creative now with those names.. lol

This song is again, excellent. The difference between this song and the rest is.. There is nothing I can give feed back about. It worked so great together. It really did. You've got a skill for making things flow that I haven't seen in an artist in a long time. I wish I had that skill *gags at his own music*.

It's funny to see these positive reviews when I go back after all these years and listen to it and all I think is "wow way too much going on in this song." but you can probably tell my later work apart from my earlier stuff like this when i was still experimenting, as my later work is a bit more evenly paced and more melodic i think.
